We cannot divide our India but people are being divided today

We cannot divide our India but people are being divided today – Economy and Politics – livemint.com

We cannot divide our India, but the people are being divided today, their minds are being divided. And to a great extent, they are succeeding. (But) for Muslims, there is no better country than India, no country in which Muslims are doing as well as they are doing in India. Our complaints, our objections, our problems exist, and we will continue to fight our fight for justice, but in other countries the situation is much worse.

After 150 years, the dreams still lives – From 1857-2008

This is Mahmud Madani – head of Deoband Islamic seminary. Deoband seminary was set up after the 1857 War, as a religious institution to ‘escape’ British repression. A 75 years later, the Deoband school became famous during Independence due to its strong anti-Jinnah, anti-Partition stand. 60 years later, Mahmud Madani still talks about ‘our’ India.

His interview here lays out the land very clearly – without the pussyfooting around the issues. For all those in India, who are onto the Islamic demonization route, this should make them re-think.

Look at Israel

You only have to look at a failed state like Israel, to understand where ‘false’ persecutions can take you. Where would Israel be – without US ICU support. It has been on ICU support for the last 60 years.

Certainly, Islam is a great religion with it’s great emphasis on the practice of Morality. It’s is just that the Koran lays out a very subtle path that is difficult for people to understand without a Good teachers. Good teachers are few and Fools are many. Thus several Islamic terms are misunderstood

    1. Jehad: Actually a war or struggle between the good tendencies and bad tendencies inherent in every human. Misunderstood as a war Between Political Islam and Political Infidels

    2. Dar-Ul-Harb: This present Human condition where constant Jehad is essential. Since the Bad tendencies never sleep, the Good tendencies must forever be vigilant. Misunderstood as Non-muslim countries which the Political muslims are trying to bring over to Political Islam.

    3. Dar-Ul-Islam: The state beyond the present human conditions, where the struggle between a human’s inherent evil and Good tendencies has come to an end with the final conquest and defeat of Evil. The state of Peace. No more war. Jehad is not necessary. Since evil is finished, Good is also finished. This is the state every Muslim must aspire to. The domain of Islam. According to the Prophet, no one is born a Muslim. One is expected to become a Muslim through Jehad. This is misunderstood to mean a country where Political Islam is the only religion.

    4. A Muslim: One who has attained to Dar-Ul-Islam.

If certain Fools prefer to malign to Prophet, if certain fools are not capable of understanding the Prophet, and if certain fools prefer to be led by other fools, then that is not the Prophet’s fault, is it?
