Motion sustained! Go on ... just ignore all thse attacks ...!

Motion sustained! Go on ... just ignore all these attacks ...!

A 23-year-old part-time Indian taxi driver, who kept a three-year-old Indian boy unconscious in the boot of his car and drove around for three hours before dumping him in a field, was today arrested and charged over the death of the toddler. (via Indian man arrested and charged over death of toddler – dnaindia.com).

Interesting!

When it comes to arresting Indians, Australian police can be ‘efficient’. Two years of increasing attacks on Indians, and less than 10 people arrested! With nearly 2000 attacks on Indians. This makes me understand better what African-Americans go through in the USA! The US police is equally efficient when it comes to arresting non-whites!

Makes one wonder!

Sir Im a big fan of your blog… An Indian living in Australia for the past 6 years… I agree with lot of what you have to say and not denying the problem…. But please come here and see that things are not even 10% like what they are being showed in Indian media… In 6 years of being here I have not faced one such situation and not only me but 100 of Indians I know here will agree with me….
Coming to these attacks… Please walk the streets of Melbourne after 11 o’clock… All you will find on the streets are druggies, drunk teenagers and Indians students going for night shifts at various petrol pumps, food joints etc…Who do you think will be the victim in this bunch…..
And no the Australians are not hiding this.. they are raising questions at the highest level.. Plus this is not 1950-1960 where no one was bothered what India thought… No Sir this is 2010… India is a giant in Australia’s neighborhood… Their 4rth largest trading partners.. So even if they want to they cant brush it aside…Not only the media or government.. Everyday Australians the people I work with are concerned about all this… More than anything they are worried about what common Indian thinks about Australia…

Manu – Thanks for taking time and adding to the discussion!

    1. Australia is a vast country and also a continent. I am glad that where you stay and work, there is not much of a problem. However, any attempts to minimize the problem are escapist. There is clear evidence that Indians have suffered significantly higher levels of attacks than the Rest.

So … there is a problem!

    2. What adds insult after the attacks are attempts to divert attention away by the logic that Indians are to blame – since they take on high risk, low paying jobs – which others do not want to take.

    3. Since, when has it become a crime or a ground for sneering at people because they are poor, hard working and willing to pull themselves up by their boot-straps?

Hard working poor people in my book are best that humanity has to offer. There are no people who are more worthy of admiration and emulation than the poor and hard working.

(I sometimes like to imagine that I am one of them).

Well sir I live in Melbourne which I believe is at the heart of all this… And i took the same path as most of these victims.. I came here as a student…. Worked night shifts in mcdonald…
Who said Indian students are poor…. The one of the first suggestions given by the Victorian police to Indian students was to hide their wealth(phones, ipods) while travelling late nights on train… (Australian media took their case for this ridiculous suggestion)… Indian student has a phone, a wallet and they travel at night plus they do not retaliate like other immigrant communities…
At no point has the media here has blamed the Indian students… nor did I… No one is blaming the students….
Yes sir majority of Australian community sees Indians as that….Hard working
    individuals….
Im not against my fellow Indians… what Im against is the very biased attitude of the media in India and blaming the whole country for crimes of a few… Its similar to blaming Islam for al-qida…As a resident of melbourne the situation here is not even 10% of what is being shown in India…
Btw most of these attacks were perpetrated by non whites and mostly teenagers… Please revisit the train attack video on Saurab Sharma….

For racism to occur one part has to feel superior and the other has to feel inferior… No racism can happen between pakistani and Indians coz we think we are equal… The day we feel the same for the gora’s there will be no racism… Fights in our minds… I know it… i have fought it… No gora can be racist against me .. COz Im equal if not better….

the very biased attitude of the media in India and blaming the whole country for crimes of a few

I am unclear which section of the media are you talking about. The section that I am in touch with, (and my posts) are clearly holding the Australian authorities responsible. I have not come across any report which says that all the 25 million Australians are racist.

most of these attacks were perpetrated by non whites and mostly teenagers… Please revisit the train attack video on Saurab Sharma…. For racism to occur one part has to feel superior and the other has to feel inferior… No racism can happen between pakistani and Indians coz we think we are equal… The day we feel the same for the gora’s there will be no racism…

I do hope you see the contradiction in this. On one side you claim that the attacks on Indians are by non-whites.Attacks, which are, if not tolerated, at least treated casually, by White authorities. On the other side you are claiming that racism can only go away if we think we are equal to Whites!

Ha ha… well I also see the very strong anti white bias in you…. Tell me who is this Australian authorities representative of… they did not spring from thin air…

My point about non whites was please take a 2ndlook at things… Attacks happening in a white majority country does not mean they are being done by whites….

Racism of the mind sir…That is what we have to get over…. No one in the world is racist against whites .. ever wondered why?

Ha ha… well I also see the very strong anti white bias in you…. Tell me who is this Australian authorities representative of… they did not spring from thin air…

I would hesitate to charge the ruled (Ordinary Australians) with crimes of the rulers(Australian authorities). I do hope that you do not hold me responsible for any crimes of the Indian Government!

Attacks happening in a white majority country does not mean they are being done by whites….

It is for the Australian police to determine that!

Where have I said, implied, hinted that these attacks were by Whites! That is your takeaway from my posts. I am clearly holding the Australian authorities responsible. For abdicating duty, from doing the needful – when it comes to protecting Indians. Which is racist behaviour by Australian authorities.

Racism of the mind sir…That is what we have to get over…. No one in the world is racist against whites .. ever wondered why?

Now that is a question .. the meaning of which is completely unclear to me! George Bush ruled for eight years, claiming that the entire Muslim world was against America – whereas, it may, arguably, be said that the opposite may be true.

Western countries pride themselves in taking care of “law and order” in their countries.

Indian students, walking with their cell phones, late at night, are “attracting” criminals. Fair enough.

The question is, has enough being done to solve this “law and order” problem – where statistically, the victims are skewed to be of Indian origin?

Are the authorities spending more tax dollars to protect the Indians? or do they find it cheaper to advise the students to not take risks?

I am guessing that right now it is the free stuff that is going around… and lots of it 🙂

Indians are attacked because they are always harassing white women in Australia.

  10. September 27, 2010 at 6:09 am

I understand how you feel Mary …. Just imagine these Brown Niggers trying to approach White Women!

What makes these Sand Niggers think that they can talk, walk and have anything to do with White women.

These dirty Brown guys dont know their place.

What can these helpless White Women do, except ask their men to beat these guys.

    Mary, go for them!!
