Would Arundhati Roy live in Azaad Kashmir-PoK? Will Azaad Kashmir be, is it better, than India?
If the answer is yes, she is welcome to go there. If not, why does she want others to be part of that hell? Remember, many Communists from Britain and USA actually migrated to the ‘Promised Paradise’ of Soviet Russia. Arundhati should follow her own advice!

you dont seem to have read arundhati roy’s statements outside of the reportage by Times TV.she doesnt really think that geelani’s kashmir is going to be utopia.she is only saying that the indian version of imperial rule in kashmir is not a good idea either -especially since it is ruled by military power and disregard of the constitution.atleast geelani is “their own” devil. not any different from why the brits should have left india.

I think your idea that the modern Indian State is equal or no better than the colonial British Raj, the Pakistani Hell or the PoK Joke has no basis in fact, figures, benefits, quality, objective data, state of the citizenry, decline /progress etc.
Hence, both you and Arundhati Roy are on a slope into a swamp of mushy liberalism which is deliberately destructive to the people it claims to ‘protect’ or ‘serve’!

I have no idea whose words these are – Arundhati Roy’s or your own. What this clause displays is extreme ignorance of imperialism.
Imperialism is an idea which cannot be applied to the modern Indian state. All the characteristics of an imperial state are missing. The closest that India comes to imperialism is in South India and East India. Kashmir and North East can definitely be excluded from such a list – as even a cursory examination of imperial behaviour will show.
So, you are saying that Geelani has been consistency rotten. Good. It makes my negative opinion of these separatists stronger. On the subject of consistency, there are a few quotes.
